The Unyielding Moon v 1.0

This is a 1.0 released for a Game Jam called Below A Bad Moon. Here's what it is NOT: Completed. But it is pretty dope so far, so I figured I'd turn it in as is - it is 100% playable as written from beginning to end. 

Things it IS:

A card game powered TTRPG. No, I did not say card powered. It is a card game.

A card game and TTRPG element powered narrative story.

Cute stuff about little mice living in a Castle, and they have to walk a Labyrinth every night in order to achieve success against the Monsters that come every night from The Unyielding Moon. Without the mice and their fight, the whole world would end. So they quite truly believe. And you just got recruited by them, little field mouse.

Currently some cute public domain pics to accentuate the story, mainly from Beatrix Potter. I love Beatrix Potter from when I was a kid. Not only will we keep some of that Beatrix Potter stuff and vibe but...

What this WILL BE:

AWESOME! Of course...first of all, I started to say "we" when I was talking about the art. I do have a collaborator and we are going to split 50/50 when the time comes to publish a final version. His art is going to be Beatrix Potter inspired black and white sketches that go along with the story and characters.

Formatted for solo gamebook play way better than it is now. I just wanted to bang out words because for most of this book, I was on fire with what I knew I was going to write.  If you do actually play this, you will want to use the pieces that apply to you and ignore the rest. It's currently a big "If...then, if....then". My next step will be to work on formatting since the game itself really is done except for writing actual things for 8 of the Monsters and making sure narrative and gameplay match.
